LumicyanoTM  is an innovative product developed in collaboration between PPSM and the start-up company CrimeSceneTechnology. It combines a cyanoacrylate and a tetrazine dye. Exactly like a normal cyanoacrylate, when fumigated, it produces vapours which react with the traces left on the fingerprint and polymerizes. But here, the fingerprint is directly fluorescent. This avoids a costly, time-consuming and toxic enhancement step which additionally sometimes damages the fingerprint. LumicyanoTM has been successfully tested by the French Police and Gendarmerie and by several police forces abroad.
